In this part-time role (approximately 10–15 hours per week), you’ll help users feel confident using jmc—showing not just how things work, but why they matter for smoother, more efficient school days that contribute to student success. You’ll design and deliver engaging, easy-to-follow learning experiences that meet clients where they are—whether through online trainings, on-site workshops, or personalized virtual sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5+ years in K–12, professional learning, or edtech training preferred.
- Experience with jmc or similar SIS platforms preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; confident presenter online and in person.
- Proficiency with Keynote/Google Slides; comfortable with basic LMS or training-tracking tools.
- Solid understanding of technology systems and data concepts.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently with strong follow-through.
- Willingness to travel up to ~20% for on-site trainings and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging trainings that build user confidence with jmc tools and workflows.
- Create clear, approachable training materials that simplify complex processes.
- Deliver sessions across formats: large-group webinars, on-site workshops, 1:1 virtual trainings, and conference breakouts.
- Conduct post-session check-ins and provide actionable feedback to support adoption.
- Track training metrics (attendance, completion, satisfaction) and share insights with stakeholders.
- Partner with Training, Creative, Technical Support, and Development to align content and ensure a consistent client experience.
- Stay current on product updates and relevant K–12/SIS trends to keep content accurate and effective.
Core Activities
- Webinars: Plan, facilitate, and follow up on live online trainings.
- On-site workshops: Coordinate logistics, deliver sessions, and ensure successful handoffs.
- 1:1 virtual sessions: Provide targeted support and coaching for specific roles or use cases.
- Content upkeep: Update decks, guides, and recordings as features evolve; maintain training assets in shared repositories.
- In-person onboarding and training sessions: Provide in-person support for schools and users that are brand new to jmc.
