MCCC Update - Posted Sep 26th, 2011
Important Note: Minnesota Common Course Catalog (MCCC) data is currently being collected for the 2010-2011 school year only. Please refer back to this page for announcements concerning those data collections. Please note the following:
1. MDE is currently finalizing plans for additional MCCC data collections for the 2010-2011 school year, including course section and teacher data as well as student data. Once the specifications for the data collections have been finalized, JMC will be adding the appropriate capture options to our MARSS module. The submission window for these additional 2010-2011 data collections is projected for January of 2012.
2. Starting with the 092111 build of the 2010-2011 software, a course will only be included in the MCCC Course Index file if the course has a state course code assigned to it.
3. At the appropriate time JMC will provide an option to import MCCC course data from your 2010-2011 database into your 2011-2012 database. This option will be made available once the file upload specifications are available from MDE for the 2011-2012 data collection. This course data import option will be available well in advance of the reporting window for MCCC data collection for the 2011-2012 school year. At this time there are no projected dates for MCCC 2011-2012 data submissions.
