As new features become available for the JMC Office SQL Application, updates to the software will be posted on our web site. To determine whether you may want to update your JMC Office Application, locate the build date for your software and then check below to see if a newer build is available and, if so, what new features are available in the newer build.

If a newer build is available and you wish to download the update, click on the correct link on the software download page to begin the download process.

Edit Course Data

New course-level and section-level data elements are available in various locations on the screen Schedules - Course - Edit Course Data. These new data elements will vary by state. New course-level data elements may be found above the tab panel. New course section-level data elements may be found in either the Teacher or State-Specific tab.

New course-level and section-level data elements may be viewed or exported with this report by selecting the Course Number and Name - expanded option.

Scroll wheel Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

On Mac OS X the scroll wheel is now supported. Also. the scroll wheel and page up/down keys are supported on more screens than in previous versions.

Additional Standardized Tests

Test/subtest scores for the AIMSWeb, ASSET, AVMR, DIBELS Next, MN DSR (various new or updated tests and subtests), and Perkins TSA (includes new categories for CAERT, MDH, NCHSE, NOCTI, and NREMT) may be maintained in the Grades module.

Import Test Scores - MN DSR file

MCA Modified (MOD-II & MOD-III), Minnesota Test of Academic Skills (MTAS & MTAS-III), and Alternative Assessments (AA) are now importable from a MN DSR file.

This option allows you to import the test results you receive from DIBELS Next tests.

Export AIMSWeb Student Data

This option creates a file of student lists that can be uploaded to AIMSWeb's website in preparation for an upcoming test.

Export NWEA SPF file

Export NWEA SPF File has been updated to include the following special programs: any grade level, Special Education, Section 504, IEP, IEP Support Services Only (IA), Title I Reading (IA), Title I Math (IA).

Export NWEA CRF file

Export NWEA CRF File has been revised to include the race-ethnicity aggregate code. This completes the transition away from the legacy race-ethnicity (numeric) code to the newer race-ethnicity checkboxes that allow for multiple ethnicities to be specified.

Students in grade zero will now be reported as NWEA grade 13 or 14, depending upon the state reporting module in use as well as the settings for some states on Edit - Edit School Data.

Import Programs Fact from Prior Year

This option will import Programs Fact records from the prior year and allow the user to assign an effective date for the new school year.

Attendance - IA

Drop Day Zero on Drop Add Report

Attendance - Reports - Drop / Add has been updated to include students who were dropped on Day Zero.

Edit Student Data - IA

KG Literacy Assessment - student level override

A menu was added to the Edit Student Data screen for students with Grade Level Placement KG. The menu is called "KG Literacy Assessment" and may be used as a student-level override to the existing KG Literacy Assessment settings available on the Edit School Data screen.

Print Student EASIER Data - revision

The report EASIER - Data - Print EASIER Student Data has been retitled as Print Student Enrollment Preview and has been revised to feature enrollment history information that may be used to help with FAY determinations for AYP planning and reporting.

The report EASIER - Data - Print Course SCED Codes has been retired. Please use Schedules - Course - Course Data List and specify Course Name and Number - expanded for state-specific course information.
